The People Behind the Work

Meet the Team

ActionPath Africa is built on lived experience, deep relationships, and a genuine commitment to communities that are too often underserved. Here are the people who make the work possible.

Our Mission

To empower individuals with practical skills and knowledge that foster sustainable livelihoods, uphold integrity in every engagement, and champion inclusivity by creating opportunities for all, especially marginalized communities.

Our Vision

To be a leading consultancy that transforms lives by building resilient, self-reliant communities where empowerment, integrity, and inclusivity drive lasting social and economic progress.

Our People

A small team with deep reach

ActionPath Africa operates as a lean, experienced team that punches well above its size. Each member brings a distinct set of skills and relationships that combine to deliver programs in some of the most complex livelihood environments in East Africa. We work with a network of associates, community facilitators, and partner organisations to extend our reach without losing the quality and care that define our approach.

Adams Arkippo

Livelihoods Expert

"Empowering ASAL communities through diversified, climate-smart livelihoods."

Adams Arkippo is a dedicated livelihoods expert with extensive experience working in arid and semi-arid lands (ASALs) across Kenya, including Tana River, Homa Bay, Migori, and Baringo counties, as well as in Tanzania's Tarime and Sirari areas.

He has supported the development and implementation of training curricula on dairy management, poultry production, beekeeping, and shoat rearing, empowering vulnerable communities to diversify their income sources and reduce dependence on a single livelihood activity.

Adams has also facilitated market linkages for farmers, enabling them to access reliable markets for their produce while reducing post-harvest losses through the adoption of climate-smart technologies. These interventions include the use of solar-powered storage facilities, promotion of fast-growing forage varieties, and improved livestock breeds to enhance productivity and resilience.

Through these efforts, farmers have achieved better prices for their products, strengthened their bargaining power, and reduced exploitation by middlemen, resulting in improved household incomes and livelihoods.
